This past weekend I drove over the mountain to visit my folks and celebrate Dad's 78th (a week early). Arlene came from Boise and brought Jadyn as a surprise. Jadyn is now 3 1/2 and still just as busy as ever. I had been taking pictures of her all evening, then asked if she would like to give it a try. Of course she said, "Yes!" It was so much fun to watch her with the camera so I got out my cell phone and snapped a couple of her in action.

...my favorite 2 1/2 year old
Last weekend Arlene was able to bring Jadyn to Cove with her again. (Her mommy and daddy had to work. Too bad!) We thoroughly enjoyed this impish little girl.
Early Saturday morning--not quite awake yet.
"I do it." (Filing her nails.)
Hopping down the steps to the back yard. She'd hop, then giggle and look back at us.
Thanks Steve and Coryn for sharing your sweet little girl with us!

...Jadyn
Finally! A video of Jadyn from February. Last weekend while in Cove I copied pictures that mom had taken with her camera and combined them with the few I was able to get on mine. (I have learned my lesson--take camera battery charger with me--even when the camera appears to be fully charged, it's not!) Jadyn is such a sweetie (and a bit of an imp!). She reminds us of her dad when he was little, yet she also looks like her mom. And, she looks like her grandma as a little girl. She's a beautiful combination of her gene pool!
