...finishing the job

Christmas decorations are officially put away at my house.
It took a couple more hours this morning, but the job is done. Chasse was puzzled by all the trips up and down the stairs (the decorations are kept in an odd closet in my bedroom). I'm not sure why she felt compelled to follow me, but that's what she does. The tree is nestled all snug in it's box, ready for next year. (I am sooo glad mom and dad gave it to us a couple of years ago. Katie is no longer sick every Christmas!)
And the house is back to normal...Of course there're always a few stray items that missed being packed up!
